Insurance Coverage

Did you know? Many people who’ve had a single or double mastectomy — whether you’ve chosen reconstruction or not — may be able to get help from insurance to cover the cost of post-surgery bras, mastectomy bras, breast forms, and prostheses. With a prescription from your doctor, you could be eligible for full or partial reimbursement.

We believe everybody deserves to feel supported, comfortable, and confident — and we’re here to help you find the perfect fit while guiding you through what’s possible with your insurance.

While our boutique does not bill insurance directly, we’re happy to support you as an out-of-network provider. We provide a detailed itemized receipt (superbills) that includes all necessary information — such as our NPI number, business details, and product codes like L8000 (mastectomy bra) — to help you submit your claim.

Insurance companies are generally required to cover your L8000 mastectomy bra after surgery, but each provider has different rules for reimbursement. We strongly recommend calling your insurance company to confirm your coverage, required paperwork, and any out-of-pocket costs ahead of time.

How to submit for reimbursement:

  1. Obtain a prescription from your doctor if needed.

  2. Purchase your items from our boutique.

  3. Use the itemized receipt we provide to submit a claim directly to your insurance provider.

  4. Some customers also use FSA/HSA funds for eligible items.

Important: Coverage for products under FSA/HSA plans varies by plan. Items related to post-surgical recovery and medical needs are generally eligible, while cosmetic products may not be. Please consult your plan administrator to confirm eligibility before purchase.

If you need help understanding your receipt, need a new copy, or have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here to help!
